I grew up in a household that consisted of 4 women… and then my dad. Let me tell you, I NEVER had a problem with gift-giving to my mom and my two sisters. Candles, bath sets, nail accessories, there was always something I came across that I knew they would love. My dad, however?! Pure torture Every. Single. Holiday!

So I started going with things I thought he “needed”. Ya know, socks, cans of pistachios, Old Spice deodorant.. guy things! I thought I did pretty decent.

But then something happened. During a visit with my dad one summer, I went in the house to look for something and opened a cupboard only to be greeted by 15 years of socks, half-eaten pistachios, and dusty ol’ tubes of Old Spice deodorant that had never been opened. I learned that day that my father doesn’t even wear Old Spice. Ha!

It was that very day that I decided I would never give a crappy man-gift to anyone ever again! I have talked to my male friends, my boyfriend, my sons, uncles- you name it- to bring you this list of 50 Gift Ideas That He’ll Actually Love!
